How Signetry Technologies LLC collects, uses and protects information when you use Zeal Inventory.

Effective

The short version

  • Your business records are yours. We store them to run the service and never sell them or use them to advertise.
  • Our support team can only see your records after an owner or admin of your organization allows it, and every look is logged.
  • Card details go straight to Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
  • The help assistant answers from our guides and does not read your records.
  • You can ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be deleted, at any time by writing to hello@zealinventory.com.

The full text below is what applies. Each section starts with what it means in plain words.

1.Who we are

Signetry Technologies LLC runs Zeal Inventory and is responsible for the information described here.

Zeal Inventory is inventory and lot-traceability software for producers, a product of Signetry Technologies LLC ("we", "us"), 230 Ganton Ct, Johns Creek, GA 30097, USA. This policy covers our website and the Zeal Inventory application. Questions about it go to hello@zealinventory.com.

Your organization decides what records it keeps in Zeal Inventory, such as suppliers, lots and customer orders. For those records your organization is in charge of the information and we process it on its behalf, under our Terms of service. For account, billing and website information, we are in charge of it ourselves.

2.What we collect

Who you are, what your organization records, how you pay, and what you ask us.

  • Account details: your name, work email and password. Passwords are stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider.
  • Organization details: the organization's name, address, logo, members and their roles.
  • Business records: everything your team enters or imports, including products, formulas, suppliers and their certificates, lots, stock movements, purchase and sales orders, customers' business contact details, transfers, co-packer documents and uploaded files.
  • Billing details: your plan, billing period and payment status. Payment card details are collected and kept by Stripe, not by us.
  • Support and feedback: the conversations you start with us, the notes and ideas you send, and the questions you ask the help assistant.
  • Connected services: if you connect Shopify or QuickBooks, the tokens that let us act for you (kept in an encrypted vault) and the orders, products, bills and invoices we exchange with them. By default, orders from a store are booked to one shared customer, so shoppers' names and addresses are not stored.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, and request logs kept by our hosting providers to run and secure the service.

3.How we use it

To run the service, bill for it, support you and keep it secure. Nothing else.

  • To provide the service: store your records, trace lots, produce reports and documents, and sync with services you connect.
  • To manage your account and subscription, and to send the emails the service needs, such as sign-in links, invitations, receipts and replies to your support conversations.
  • To answer support requests and improve the product from the feedback you choose to send.
  • To keep the service secure: detect abuse, investigate problems and keep an audit trail of changes.
  • To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records.

We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use your business records to train AI models.

4.AI features

Two features use Anthropic's Claude. One never sees your records; the other sees only the text you paste in.

  • Help assistant: your question is sent to Anthropic together with our published help guides. It does not read your organization's records.
  • Paste a message: when you paste an email or message to fill in an order, that text and the names of your products and suppliers are sent to Anthropic to read it. Nothing is sent until you choose to.

Anthropic processes this content to return an answer and does not use it to train its models under its commercial terms.

5.When our team can see your records

Only with your organization's permission, only to read, and always on the record.

Our support staff can read the conversations you send us. They can see your organization's records only after an owner or admin approves a request, or reads them a one-time code. Access is read-only, ends after 24 hours or when the conversation is resolved, can be withdrawn at any moment, and every request, approval and page viewed is recorded on the support conversation for you to see.

6.Who we share it with

A short list of providers that run parts of the service for us, and the services you choose to connect.

  • Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage.
  • Vercel: hosting of the website and application.
  • Stripe: payments and subscription billing.
  • Anthropic: the AI features described above.
  • Resend: delivery of the emails the service sends.
  • Shopify and Intuit QuickBooks: only if your organization connects them, and only what the connection needs.

Each provider handles information only to do its job for us, under contractual confidentiality and security terms. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

7.Where it is stored and for how long

In the United States (Oregon), for as long as your account is open, then deleted.

Your information is stored in the United States (Oregon). If you use the service from another country, your information is transferred to and processed there.

We keep your records while your organization's account is open. A subscription that lapses makes the account read-only; it does not delete anything. When an account is closed, you have 30 days to ask for a copy, and we delete its records within 90 days, except what we must keep for tax, accounting or legal reasons. Copies in backups are overwritten on their normal cycle.

8.How we protect it

Encryption, strict separation between organizations, and access on a need-to-know basis.

  • Information is encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Every record belongs to one organization, and the database itself refuses access to records of any other organization.
  • Connection tokens for Shopify and QuickBooks are kept in an encrypted vault and never sent to the browser.
  • Stock and lot history is append-only and changes are kept in an audit log.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you without undue delay. To report a security concern, write to hello@zealinventory.com.

9.Cookies

Only the ones that keep you signed in and remember your settings. No advertising trackers.

We use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and secure, a cookie that remembers whether the sidebar is open, and your browser's storage to remember choices such as light or dark theme. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

10.Your choices and rights

See, correct, export or delete your information by asking us.

You can update your name and organization details in the app. You can also ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, or stop or limit how we use it. Depending on where you live, for example in the European Union, the United Kingdom or California, the law gives you these rights and the right to complain to a data protection authority. Write to hello@zealinventory.com; we answer within 30 days.

If a request concerns records your organization keeps, such as one of its customers' contact details, we will pass it to that organization, because it decides what happens to them.

11.Children

Zeal Inventory is for businesses, not for children.

Zeal Inventory is a business tool and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

12.Changes to this policy

If we change something important, we tell you before it applies.

We will post any change on this page with a new effective date. For a material change we will also email the owners of every organization at least 30 days before it takes effect.
